Costumes!
We had so much fun last year with costumes that we are happy to offer the same joy again. You may wear any clothing that you wish, but you Star Wars fans already noticed the logo is Star Wars themed. If you'd like to race as a Wookie or Jabba the Hut, then you have our blessing.

Biking

Distance is 20 km; a map will be provided on race day
The biking stage will start at Chiang Rai Rajabhat University's swimming pool and finish at Chiang Rai International Christian School.
There are some moderate to steep hills and dirt roads with rutted areas on the route, so a good cross bike or mountain bike is recommended. This ride is not recommended for beginning riders, and novice riders will need to use caution.
The route will be marked with red arrow signs and there will be volunteers at key intersections to help with direction
Note: there might be arrow signs from other groups - ours are on bamboo poles and they all look the same.
Please ride on the left side of the road, be careful of vehicles, and follow all traffic laws
Bike helmets are strongly recommended (Please do not ride without a helmet)
Please be mindful when biking through villages and be a good example for our community.
Fat Free Bikes in downtown Chiang Rai has 20 bikes for rent at 200 baht per day if you do not have a bike for the race or would like to upgrade for a day.
Running
The start of the running stage will occur at Chiang Rai International Christian School (CRICS). Please have any special gear you want to use for the running stage ready to go by the cafeteria.
For those only doing the running stage the start time will be at 8:00 am at the CRICS cafeteria.
For those who will continue with this stage after finishing the biking, you may immediately start the running stage when you have completed the biking.
Running distance is 5km; a map will be available for your reference on race day.
Running route will be marked with blue arrow signs
You will do a loop from the cafeteria area, through the neighborhood, and end up back where you started the run.
When running/walking please stay to the right edge of the road and watch for oncoming vehicles
Please be mindful when running/walking through villages and be a good example for our community.
